On art and gardening

A Marilynn Webb themed tour of begonias, and the Olveston Garden

Saturday 2 March | 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM

Artist Marilynn Webb was an avid gardener, carefully cultivating both the garden at her home in Ōtepoti and her land at Mahinerangi.

As an acknowledgment of her love of gardens and flowers, a begonia from Marilynn’s garden has been planted at Olveston Historic Home. Please join Olveston guides and close friends of Marilynn’s, Inge Doesburg and Ray Sheppard for a tour of the Olveston garden.

The tour will include the begonia, and a conversation around the way Marilynn fused her dedication to gardening and art-making.

While this event is free, we recommend registering your interest to confirm your place. Walk-ins on the day are welcome but can’t be guaranteed a place if the tour is full.
To register please contact Olveston reception via + 64 3 477 3320 or
