Animal theme workshops are always a popular choice with students.

Animal Portraits Level 1-4
Painting close up pictures of animals provides an opportunity to create fur textures using paint and printing techniques.

Caged Animals Level 1-4
An animal at the zoo is seen in its cage with the outside world seen through the bars of the cage.

Crazy Mixed Up Animals Level 1-4
In this collage workshop students will combine parts of animals to create new creatures and use wordplay to name them. Expect to see some crocodillos, porcugators and eleroos.

Create a leafy rainforest setting for your animal.

Otago Harbour Tondo        Level 2-4
Create a circular-shaped artwork covered with images all pointing towards the centre depicting the Otago Harbour's natural and human history.

Otago Peninsula Wildlife        Level 1-4
This workshop ties in with a visit to the beautiful Otago Peninsula. Students will paint a landscape scene with wildlife as the centre of interest.

Zodiac Animal Race Level 2-4
The animals in the Chinese zodiac are competing in the race of their lives.

Animals On the Move Level 3-4
Capture the essence of an animal in motion using fluid brushstrokes. Students will work from a wide selection laminated pictures.

Silhouettes of India Level 3-4
Using silhouettes and cut-outs the students capture a scene from India which may include buildings, elephants, tigers and peacocks.

Create a fantasy mask with a human face morphing into an animal face.
