This programme has targets one of the key competencies in the new curriculum: 'participating and contributing'. The focus is on co-operative learning.
Art making is often an individual activity but this workshop changes all that. Your students will enjoy the challenge of being creative in pairs or small groups. At the end there is time to reflect on the experience and what has been learned from it and how it can be applied to other areas of learning.
Design Challenge Level 1-4
Students work co-operatively to arrange materials provided into design installations within a set time limit. The class then visit and talk about the creations. Bring a camera so that a photo record is kept of works created on the visit.
