TEEN WRITING COMPETITION in collaboration with Dunedin Public Libraries and Dunedin UNESCO City of Literature. Entry is restricted to those from Year 9 to Year 13. One entry per person, with a maximum of 750 words. Closing date for entries is 28 October 5pm. Judges are poet, art writer, and editor of Landfall David Eggleton; and Bridget Schaumann, President of School Library Association of New Zealand Aotearoa. PLUS prizes for the three winners. Paradise Lost

SORRY THIS EVENT IS CANCELLED. This classic story of the war in Heaven, Lucifer's journey across the cosmos, and the temptation of Adam and Eve is based on Milton's seventeenth-century masterpiece. Paradise Lost will feature shadow puppets, glove puppets and giant puppets, supported by a chorus and an ensemble of early instruments. Brought to you by the Dunedin Medieval Society and the Rare Byrds Early Music Consort. Suitable for adults and children. Koha.
